Welcome to KinderRijk Day Care Asserring, located in the heart of Amstelveen-South, in the Westwijk district. Our day care is housed in a bright and spacious building with a large garden and a central hall where children have plenty of space to play and explore. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in four vertical groups, where children of different ages play and learn together. This stimulates development and gives younger children the opportunity to learn from older children. Our pedagogical staff form a stable and dedicated team that provides structure and consistency. They organize daily activities such as dance, music and creative workshops in our own studio. These activities are focused on the child's development and are tailored to the children's world of experience. We work with an Early Childhood Education program that supports the transition to primary school. Children are offered both bread meals and hot meals, adjusted to the age and needs of the child. For the youngest children, we provide bottle feeding and adjustments to the feeding schedule. The daily routine is flexible and follows the rhythm of the child whenever possible. In the morning, we start with a table moment with songs and storytelling, followed by free play and development-focused activities. After lunch, there is rest and sleep for the younger children, while the older children can continue playing. At the end of the day, there is always a handover to the parents about how the day went. Our location features a large, green garden with a water track, where children can romp and discover nature. We believe it is important for children to play and learn both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, we have a separate studio for each age group where we work with different materials and children can express their creativity. KinderRijk is a non-profit childcare organization.
