KinderRijk After-School Care Jane Addamslaan is located in the modern Karel Eykman school at Jane Addamslaan 15 in Amstelveen. We provide professional after-school care for 100 children divided across four BSO groups. Our location is open until 6:30 PM on school days and from 8:15 AM to 6:30 PM during all school holidays, including study days. At our location, children have complete freedom to make their own choices. We believe children develop best when they can decide for themselves what to play with and which activities to participate in. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide and encourage them in this process. We work with fixed activity moments, but children are never obligated to participate. Instead, we encourage them to try new things and find their own solutions. Our facility features its own sports cage and a rooftop patio where children can play and move to their heart's content. Additionally, we regularly organize excursions, especially during school holidays. These excursions are always group activities that take place outside the facility, such as visits to playgrounds or fun destinations in the neighborhood that are accessible on foot or by public transport. We communicate with parents through our parent app, where we share daily reports, photos, and messages. This keeps parents informed about all their child's experiences. At KinderRijk, fun comes first, but we also focus on respect, development, and imagination. We are proud of our dedicated professionals who make a difference for the children every day.
