Welcome to KinderRijk BSO Brink, our bright, spacious and welcoming after-school care centre located at Brink 69 in Amstelveen. We provide care for up to 60 children aged 4 to 7 years. Our location stands out because of the variety of spaces that allow children the freedom to choose where they want to play. In addition to the regular group rooms, we have an art studio, a theatre room with an interactive movement floor and a chill-out area. These diverse play and discovery areas stimulate each child’s development in their own unique way. Our adventurous nature garden and the adjacent park form a true play and learning environment. Children can spend hours exploring, playing and collaborating during nature excursions, treasure hunts or simply enjoying outdoor play. We believe it is important that children feel both safe and challenged, indoors and outdoors. BSO Brink works closely with De Cirkel, De Pioniers and Willem-Alexander School. Our pedagogical staff collect the children after school or, for older children with a self-reliance declaration, they may come to the centre independently. We are open until 18:30 on school days and also on school study days and during holiday weeks from 08:15 – 18:30. Our team consists of staff with diverse backgrounds, ages and talents. This enables us to offer a varied programme of activities every day, tailored to the children’s interests. We involve children in planning activities and actively include them in carrying them out. When children turn 8, they automatically move on to KinderRijk BSO Sportlaan.
