Welcome to KDV Kinderpaleis Almere Poort! We are located at Minervasingel 5 in the heart of Almere Poort and provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4. At our centre, your child comes first. We believe it is important that children not only eat well and healthily, but also get plenty of exercise and have fun. That is why our professional chef prepares fresh meals every day and we offer a wide range of activities for children to choose from. Structure and rest are just as important to us as play and discovery. We therefore work with a fixed daily routine that is tailored to each child’s age and development. Nap times are adjusted individually, so every child gets the rest they need. Parents stay involved through our Bitcare app, which allows you to follow in real time what your child eats, drinks, sleeps and experiences. You can also view photos and the schedule, report leave or illness, and leave a message for the pedagogical staff. Our premises are modern and secure. We have an advanced camera system and a heat-recovery system that ensures fresh air in all rooms. The entire building is equipped with air-conditioning, allowing us to adjust the temperature per room. Outdoors, we have no less than 1000 m² of play space with a traffic square, basketball and football pitch, play equipment and a trampoline. In addition, we do sports twice a week in an external gym and run our own football school for weekly football lessons. Creativity is highly valued at our centre. In our child-friendly kitchen we give cooking lessons where children learn to bake cookies, cakes and pancakes, as well as prepare a healthy hot meal. We also run creative workshops where children learn how to give disposable items a second life, such as building structures from toilet rolls. Before starting care, we schedule one or two settling-in days so that child, parents and pedagogical staff can get to know each other well. This way, we all start with a sense of trust.
