Welcome to Zien Day-care Centre De Kluts in Nieuw-Roden. Our homely, small-scale day-care is located just a stone’s throw from the centre of Nieuw-Roden and offers care for children from 6 weeks to 4 years of age. We work with two clear age groups: a baby group for children from 6 weeks to 2 years and two toddler groups for children from 2 to 4 years. Each group has its own regular, qualified pedagogical staff so that your child always sees familiar faces. Our premises at Roderweg 82-84 have two separate gardens where children play every day – in fine and in poor weather. We enjoy our central location and regularly visit the nearby deer park or playground. Indoors everything is furnished in a cosy, bright style with discovery corners that invite children to experiment in ‘100 languages’. Every day we offer different ateliers in which your child can paint, build, sing and experience stories. We follow the pedagogical vision of Reggio Emilia and Emmi Pikler. This means that we start from the strength of every child and give room to personal initiative. Our babies receive all the time and rest they need to sleep, feed and grow at their own rhythm. The toddler groups are given increasing scope to play together, explore and learn. We devote a lot of attention to language development and to discovering the world around us. Day-care De Kluts is open 51 weeks a year from 7.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. We close only on public holidays and between Christmas and New Year. You can come to us for full-day care, but flexible solutions can be discussed. Our location manager Marjon Venekamp and her team are ready to welcome you and your child warmly. Together we provide a safe, familiar place where your child can develop at his or her own pace.
