Zien Groene BSO

Welcome to Zien Groene BSO, located at Scharlakenlaan 28 in Haren, right next to the VV Gorecht football club. Our after-school care is set in a lush, green area of over 3,000 m² where children aged 6 to 12 can play, explore and unwind after a busy school day. We pick up children from nearby schools and bring them safely to the BSO with our electric cargo bike. At Zien Groene BSO we work according to the principle of ‘learning through wonder’. Our pedagogical staff observe what fascinates your child and build creative activities around those interests. Is your child captivated by clouds? We start a project about weather and the sky. Does your child love building? We provide wood, rope and tools to build huts in our own nature garden. We believe children develop best when they play in an environment that challenges and inspires them. Our location is spacious, with different ateliers and play zones. We have a large outdoor playground with climbing trees, a vegetable garden and a small sports field. We go outside in all weather; rain suits and boots are ready. During school holidays we organise extra excursions, for example to the forest, a farm or a sports park. Sustainability is important to us. We use reusable materials as much as possible, choose wooden toys and teach children in a playful way about the value of nature and the environment.
