Welcome to Zien BSO de Blokhut – de Wijert, located at Multatulistraat 169 in Groningen. Our beautiful facility, situated next to the A7, offers a spacious and safe environment where children aged 4 to 12 can play, explore, and grow. We provide after-school care 52 weeks a year, including during school holidays. At de Blokhut, we work with three age groups: 4-6 years, 6-8 years, and 9-12 years. Every day, we offer age-appropriate and challenging activities, allowing children to choose what they want to do. Our 4-week workshops come from the sports studio, creative studio, and nature club. Children can decide which workshop or activity they want to join. After-school care is free time, so there's always room for free play or just relaxing. Our team consists of staff with diverse backgrounds: a gym teacher, an artist, an outdoor specialist, a textile crafts teacher, and a dance instructor. This allows us to offer a varied program that matches every child's interests. We pick up children from Brederoschool, Brederoschool location Griffel, De Tamarisk (location Corpus den Hoorn), and De GSV. During school weeks, we offer before-school care from 7:00 AM and after-school care until 6:30 PM. During holidays and study days, we provide day care from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We are closed on New Year's Day, Easter, King's Day, Pentecost, Ascension Day, and Liberation Day. Our location features a large outdoor area where children can play and explore every day. We believe in learning through wonder and provide a rich environment with indoor play spaces and studios, as well as natural materials outdoors. Children are exposed to music, dance, art, nature, science, and sports. We are committed to a safe environment, respect for people and nature, and joy in development.
