Welcome to Kinderopvang Westhof, located in the modern Westhof community school at De Ruijtbaan 81 in Poeldijk. As part of Smallsteps, we have been providing professional daycare for up to 52 children aged 0 to 4 since 2010. Our location is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 486019810, allowing parents to apply for childcare allowance. We operate with horizontal groups, caring for babies, toddlers and preschoolers in age-specific groups. This provides calm and structure, perfectly matching each child’s developmental needs. Our certified pedagogical staff guarantee a safe, warm environment where every child feels seen and valued. Our daycare features a spacious, bright playroom and separate sleeping rooms for the youngest children. Kids love playing in our renewed nature garden, which even has a special section for the littlest ones. We believe children should explore, play and learn both indoors and outdoors. Therefore, we offer daily activities such as arts and crafts, singing, music, cooking and baking, and of course plenty of outdoor play. Language development is high on our agenda. We are an official Bookstart location in collaboration with Westland Library. We read aloud daily and stimulate language development in playful ways. We also provide pre-school education (VE), ensuring children make a great start at primary school. Our parent app keeps you updated on all milestones and fun moments your child experiences with us. We value good nutrition. Every day we serve fresh, healthy meals and snacks, taking allergies or dietary requirements into account. For the youngest we provide bottle feeding and fresh fruit. Diapers and wipes are included, so you can enjoy our care worry-free. Kinderopvang Westhof is situated in a modern residential area and works closely with primary school Verburch-hof, located in the same building. This provides an ideal continuous line for your child.
