Welcome to Partou Westendorp! Our daycare is located right in the heart of Amsterdam Nieuw-West, inside the beautiful Fiep Westendorp primary school building at Overschiestraat 168D. We are a small-scale centre with room for 45 children: 17 babies and 28 toddlers. Thanks to our limited size we can give every child extra attention and create a truly familiar environment. We welcome children from 0 to 4 years old. We believe in the power of every child and our warm, positive and creative pedagogical professionals provide a safe place where children feel at home. We work with themes that connect to the children’s world of experience, allowing them to discover and learn through play. We offer pre-school education following the Uk&Puk method, giving children a solid foundation for their development from an early age. Our location is also part of the Peaceful School programme, focusing on social interaction. Every day is an outdoor play day with us! Children can climb and explore in our adventurous outdoor area with a natural garden. Inside we have various play corners set up, such as a reading corner, a construction corner and a creative corner. We serve a healthy, warm lunch daily and provide fresh fruit and healthy snacks. For the little ones we take care of bottle feeding and nappy changes. We take allergies and diets into account. We keep parents informed through our own app, where we share photos and messages. This way you can enjoy all the milestones and fun moments. Your child can spend their entire early childhood with us and then easily transition to the primary school in the same building.
