BSO Ons Huis

BSO Ons Huis is located at Harnjesweg 84 in Wageningen, in the same building as the neighbourhood centre Ons Huis. We provide after-school care for up to 50 children aged 4 to 12. Our facility is directly adjacent to the G.J. van den Brinkschool, allowing children to walk safely and independently from school to our location. We also pick up children from several other nearby schools. After school, we start with a moment to eat and drink. Then children choose what they want to do: relax, read, play games, do crafts, or play on the computer. We regularly organise educational workshops on site, such as theatre, technology, music or yoga. We also spend a lot of time outdoors. We are allowed to use the spacious playground of the Brinkschool, where children can play football, jump on the trampoline, play in the tree house or climb and clamber on large equipment. During school holidays we put together a special activity programme. This includes many outings, but we also regularly have visitors who come to teach something new, such as cartoon drawing or drumming. There is always room for crafts or simply playing. In this way we ensure that every child feels at home with us and can relax, play and discover in their own way after school.
