Welcome to Partou Villa de Boerderie! Our after-school care is located in a beautiful, authentic farmhouse at Dorpsstraat 292 in Zwaag. The rural atmosphere is felt everywhere: from the bright group rooms on the second floor to the vegetable garden and playground behind the building. Small-scale and personal attention are at the heart of what we do. We have room for up to 20 school-age children, ensuring every child feels seen and safe. As soon as the school bell rings, we pick up the children—on foot, by bike, or by taxi—from Roald Dahl school, Socrates school, St. Jozefschool, and De Bussel. For safety and visibility, the children wear bright vests. Upon arrival, there is time for a healthy snack and a moment to unwind. Then children choose their own activities. In our studio, they craft and build to their hearts' content; in the kitchen, we taste new recipes together using herbs from our own garden. The vegetable garden is a source of pride: with our green fingers, we grow tomatoes, lettuce, and herbs that we use in our meals. Outdoor play is on the schedule every day—on our own grounds, the schoolyards, or the nearby playgrounds. Rain or shine, fresh air always makes us happy! Our pedagogical professionals work from Partou’s six building blocks: a strong pedagogical climate in which children playfully grow in resilience and self-confidence. We offer calm and structure, but also room for initiative. Parents stay informed through our own app: a message that everything is going well, a photo of a successful baking afternoon, or a report of an exciting scavenger hunt. Partou Villa de Boerderie is open from 7:00 a.m. for before-school care and after school until 6:30 p.m. We are here for holidays, study days, and whenever parents need us. Healthy and tasty food is important to us: fresh meals, plenty of vegetables and fruit, and always taking the child’s preferences into account.
