Kinderopvang Twins

We are a small-scale daycare centre located on the edge of Arnhem, close to the Presikhaaf shopping centre. At Kinderopvang Twins we see every child as a unique personality. Each child has their own physical appearance, growth and development pattern and temperament. This makes every child special and different from others. The child follows their own path to adulthood. Children cannot reach adulthood on their own; they need adults to raise and help them in their development. For us this means that we want to provide safety and well-being as a starting point for play-based learning. The most important thing is that we pay attention to the needs of each individual child. We support the child in difficult steps, provide tools and protect them from danger. Children are allowed to be themselves. It is important that they feel safe. Only when they feel comfortable, attention is paid to the discovery of new (learning) areas and they can grow. Through play they learn more and more outside their own experience and become open to new things. Our daycare consists of two core groups: De Stampertjes for children aged 0-2 years and De Jungle for toddlers aged 2-4 years. For the youngest children we pay a lot of attention to physical and emotional safety, hygiene and care. All babies have their own bed as much as possible and bring their own sleeping bag, pacifier or cuddly toy. We use transfer diaries in which parents and pedagogical staff record daily information about feeding, sleeping times and activities. This way everyone stays well informed about the individual situation of each child. We provide a warm meal daily and are open 52 weeks a year, Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, with a minimum attendance of an average of 1 day per week.
