Kinderopvang Tot Strakjes

Welcome to Kinderopvang Tot Strakjes, located at Oirschotseweg 60 in the heart of Moergestel. We are a small-scale daycare centre welcoming up to 24 children aged 0 to 4 years in a green, low-stimulus environment. At Tot Strakjes, everything revolves around discovering, playing and learning in and with nature. We work with horizontal core groups: babies from 3 months (max. 6 per day), toddlers and pre-schoolers. Within each group children play with peers, while during outdoor play they share experiences together. Most of the day is spent outside: playing with water, sand and mud in our mud kitchen, crafting with natural materials, or enjoying our chickens and vegetable garden. The indoor space offers calm whenever needed. A special feature of Tot Strakjes is outdoor napping. Lulled by a gentle breeze and the whisper of leaves, children rest safely in fresh air. We believe this experience enhances their well-being and creates a deep bond with nature. Our team consists of dedicated childcare professionals who are passionate every day. Owner Kim Otten founded Tot Strakjes to provide a loving, stimulating place where children can fully develop. Every child is welcome to join us on adventures and create precious memories, because at Tot Strakjes we cherish every moment – before you know it, they’ve grown up!
