Kinderopvang 't Rendal/Pippeloentje

Welcome to Norlandia childcare ’t Rendal/Pippeloentje, our small-scale daycare centre in the green heart of Lierop. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4, divided into two horizontal groups: baby group Pip (0-2 years) and toddler group Pippeloentje (2-4 years). Located at Offermansstraat 9, right next to primary school ’t Rendal and on the edge of the forest, your child is free every day to explore, run, climb and clamber outside. Our pedagogical vision is rooted in Norlandia’s Norwegian heritage: children set off on their own voyage of discovery. As soon as they are ready, they are encouraged to do as much as possible themselves – from spreading their own sandwich to independently choosing which activity they want to do. We believe that learning through play is the best preparation for the future. That is why children are given every opportunity to explore imagination, textures, materials and environments – and of course they are allowed to get nicely dirty! In the toddler group Pippeloentje we combine daycare with pre-school education (VE). Our VE-certified pedagogical staff stimulate speech and language development, social-emotional development, motor skills and early numeracy through playful activities and songs. In this way, toddlers who can use an extra boost receive targeted guidance on their way to primary school. We work with a close-knit, experienced and stable team. Each child is assigned a personal mentor who closely monitors development and well-being. During an individual intake, parents and child meet the group, and an extensive parent consultation takes place once a year. The short lines of communication with primary school ’t Rendal make the transition to school and later to our after-school care ’t Rendal smooth and familiar.
