Kinderopvang 't Oelenest

Welcome to Kinderopvang ’t Oelenest, our small-scale daycare center on the edge of the village of Annen. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a homely environment where every child feels safe and at home. Our daycare is located on a quiet street within walking distance of the forest where we regularly play and discover nature. At ’t Oelenest we work with mixed age groups. This means babies, toddlers and preschoolers play and learn together. Our pedagogical staff Cindy, Valesca, Rosan and Wendy provide a warm and personal approach. As the owner, I, Cindy de Jonge, am personally present on the group every day. I find it important to closely follow each child's development and build a close relationship with both children and parents. We work with themes from the VVE method Uk & Puk. From a theme we offer various activities such as reading aloud, singing songs, crafts and movement games. We tailor these activities to each child's developmental stage. In our spacious garden, children can play in the sandbox, cycle, build huts and even harvest from our vegetable garden. The outdoor space is an extension of our indoor space where children can build, dress up, do puzzles and be creative. Our daycare is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We don't charge for sessions but only for the hours you actually use. You don't pay for the weeks when we're closed (we're open 48 weeks per year). Feel free to drop by for an informal visit!
