Kinderopvang 't Koetje

BSO ’t Koetje is located in a beautifully renovated former village farm at Braakmanssteeg 5A in Bathmen. Since January 2023 we provide small-scale after-school care for up to 30 children aged 4 to 12 (grade 8). Our setting is rural yet close to Deventer and the A1 motorway, making drop-off and pick-up quick and easy for parents. We collect the children from primary schools in Bathmen and the surrounding area with our own minibus. Upon arrival a healthy snack is waiting: tea with gingerbread, whole-wheat biscuits or fresh fruit. Children with food allergies or intolerances are welcome to bring their own snack. Our team of qualified pedagogical staff offers a varied programme every day. We work in our vegetable garden, look after the animals on the farm and explore the nature around the premises. Even in less favourable weather we love to be outside; parents are therefore asked to dress their child in clothes that may get dirty and to pack an extra set of spare clothes. During teacher-training days and school holidays we provide full-day care. We then serve an extensive lunch with whole-wheat bread, milk or buttermilk, and organise extra activities such as crafts, games and sporty challenges in the garden. Our groups are horizontally arranged so that activities match the age and development of each child perfectly. At BSO ’t Koetje everything revolves around peace, space and nature. We give children the freedom to explore, play and grow in a safe, homely environment. We would be happy to welcome you and your child for an informal tour of our farm and our approach.
