Welcome to Kinderopvang 't Herdertje location KDV Honky Tonk, located at Wijkpark Bangaerde 2 in Zwaag. We are proud of our professional daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years, where over 40 years of experience meets a warm, homely atmosphere. Our location accommodates up to 45 children and operates with three vertical groups, where children of different ages play and learn together. Everything we do revolves around development through play. Our pedagogical staff provide a safe and familiar environment where children can develop at their own pace. We believe in the power of small-scale care and personal attention. Daily, we sing with the children, read to them, and offer various activities that stimulate language development. Our spacious garden invites outdoor play, where children can run, climb, jump and discover. We have a sandbox, a vegetable garden and plenty of space to play with water or with leaves in autumn. For the little ones, we have special baby corners with soft materials, baby gyms and music boxes. We pay great attention to social-emotional development through contact moments such as peek-a-boo games, singing and reading aloud. Toddlers work on their independence by helping with tidying up, setting the table and putting on their own coats. We also offer craft activities with various materials, where each child can be creative in their own way. Our location follows the pedagogical policy of 't Herdertje, in which respectful interaction, healthy nutrition and cooperation with parents are central. We use the parent app for daily communication and photos. For children from 2 years old, we offer preschool education (VVE) through our Spelenderwijs group, preparing them for a smooth transition to primary school.
