Kinderopvang 't Blocky

Welcome to 't Blocky, a warm and small-scale daycare centre located at Groentelaan 90 in Wateringen. Since 2013, we have been providing care for up to 44 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our modern, colourful building is situated in a quiet, child-friendly neighbourhood, right next to the Sint Jozef primary school. The location was fully renovated in the autumn of 2013 and is surrounded by a large, natural outdoor play area where children can go outside twice a day. At 't Blocky, we work with vertical groups: children of different ages play and learn together. This approach supports social development and builds confidence. Each group is guided by two or three qualified pedagogical staff members, based on the caregiver-child ratio. Our philosophy is simple yet powerful: "Playing is learning, learning is playing!" We offer a homely atmosphere where personal attention, peace and space are central. Our daily programme is rich in activities: we read aloud every day, sing together, do arts and crafts, celebrate birthdays and play circle games. We have a vegetable garden where children discover how vegetables grow, and we focus strongly on nature exploration. The warm, healthy and varied meal we serve ensures parents know their child is well cared for during the day. We believe it is important that children feel safe and at home with us, so parents can go to work with peace of mind. Kinderopvang 't Blocky is part of POV Kindercentra B.V. and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 December 2013 under number 119049478. We are small-scale, committed and ready for your child.
