Kinderopvang Sterrenrijk – KDV is located on the ground floor of our building at Richard Feynmanstraat 7 in Almere. We provide daycare for children from 10 weeks to 4 years old in a warm and secure environment. The groups are specially designed for each age category, with separate baby/toddler and preschool groups. Our pedagogical team, led by Diana and Angela, ensures that every child has the space to develop at their own pace. We believe every child is a unique individual who develops rapidly from birth. We offer calm, structure and familiarity so children feel safe to play, explore and grow. Play is central to our approach: from free play to risky play, where children learn to deal with challenges and discover their own boundaries. Our spaces are carefully designed as the ‘third pedagogue’, where color, light, materials and natural elements support the child’s development. We focus on language development and fostering a love of reading. From an early age, children are introduced to books, songs and stories. Nature experience is also an important part of our program. We use sustainable materials, offer outdoor play and let children discover nature in a playful way. Our meals are healthy and organic where possible, taking into account allergies or dietary needs. Parents are welcome Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 19:00. We offer flexible care options, including half days.
