Kinderopvang Sint - Jabik

Welcome to Kinderopvang Sint – Jabik, a warm and homely daycare centre located at Gijsbert van Swietenstraat 30 in Sint-Jacobiparochie. We care for up to six children aged 0 to 4 in one small mixed-age group where babies, toddlers and preschoolers play and learn together. Our scale allows every child to receive the full attention they deserve. Each day begins with a circle of songs and conversation, followed by free play, crafts, reading and discovery in our safe garden. A clear daily-rhythm board helps children know what to expect. Fruit, bread and drinks are included, as are nappies and wipes. For the youngest we provide bottle feeding and quiet naps in separate sleep rooms. Every child is assigned a personal mentor who is the first point of contact for parents and keeps the developmental records. Through the Nanny4All app we share photos and messages so you can follow your child’s experiences. We focus on language development through daily reading, singing and theme-based vocabulary, while also fostering social-emotional skills such as sharing, cooperative play, conflict resolution and comforting one another. Our location has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 April 2024 under number 274667915. We follow the pedagogical policy of Kids First, centred on safety, self-regulation and respect for each child’s unique talents. Parents are always welcome to drop in; together we ensure that children feel safe, loved and challenged.
