Welcome to Partou after-school care Runners, located at sports park Duyvestein on Veurselaan 109-115 in Voorburg. Our location is named after the children who came up with the name when our building opened in 2007. We provide care for up to 92 children aged 4 to 12, divided into five groups. Thanks to our unique location on a multi-purpose sports complex with two water-based pitches, three sand-based artificial pitches and two mini artificial pitches, children can use two dedicated sports fields every day. Our pedagogical staff pick up children from eight primary schools in the area, including Vijverhofschool, Montessorischool Nieuwe Vreugd & Rust, St. Maartenschool, Tanden/Emmaus, Maria Bernadette school, Essesteijn school and Casimirschool. We follow fixed pick-up and drop-off plans per school and use taxi, bus or Stint for transport. Older children can, in consultation with parents, travel independently from school to the after-school care or home. In everything we do, we follow the Partou Pedagogy and legal regulations. We provide a safe and stable environment where children feel at ease. Our activities range from sports and games on our own fields to trips to nearby parks such as Sytwendepark and Stadstuin Rusthout. We organise an annual summer barbecue for all parents and children and celebrate holidays such as Sinterklaas, Christmas and Easter with healthy, festive treats. Parents stay informed via the Partou parent app, where we share photos, reports and newsletters. We value personal contact: when dropping off and picking up, we take time for a brief handover and invite parents annually for a development discussion. Together we ensure that Runners remains a great place where children enjoy coming.
