Welcome to Smallsteps Princenhoeve, our daycare located in a charming, historic farmhouse at Liesboslaan 30-32 in Breda-Princenhage. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a warm, homely environment with a large, green garden. Every child is given the space to grow at their own pace. We operate seven groups: three mixed-age groups (0-4 years), two baby groups (0-2 years), and two toddler groups (2-4 years). Activities on each group are tailored to the children’s age, interests, and developmental stage. Our youngest ones can gently settle in our baby groups, while toddlers enjoy plenty of exploration and play. Our pedagogical staff take time for personal attention. We believe in the power of small-scale care and genuine involvement. We are open from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM, five days a week. Half-day care is also available. Outside, children find a spacious garden with play equipment, a vegetable garden, and ample room to run, climb, and discover. Together we grow vegetables and flowers, search for little creatures in the grass, and get messy in the sandpit. Indoors, bright group rooms offer inviting play corners. We sing and move a lot, and even have an interactive movement floor where children develop motor skills through play. We value parental involvement in each child’s development. Through our parent app, we share daily updates with photos and messages, so you can stay connected even when you’re not there.
