Kinderopvang Pollewop

Smallsteps Pollewop is an after-school care facility (BSO) located in a beautiful building at Slachthuislaan 25 in the Groenoord district of Leiden. We provide care for up to 94 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) under number 132120094 since January 1, 2010. At Smallsteps Pollewop, we believe that children develop best when they learn with joy. We offer a safe and challenging environment where children can relax, play, and discover new things after school. Each group has its own space with different areas for relaxation, play, and creative activities. We work with professional pedagogical staff who understand how important it is to give children space to be themselves while stimulating their development. Our BSO is small-scale and has a homely atmosphere, making children feel at home quickly. We have our own outdoor space where children can play and move to their heart's content. Additionally, we regularly organize fun activities and outings that match the children's interests. We collaborate with schools in the area to ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care. At Smallsteps Pollewop, the child is at the center. We believe it's important that every child feels seen and heard. Our pedagogical staff take time for each child and ensure a warm and familiar atmosphere. We give children space to develop at their own pace and encourage them to discover new things. Together with the children, we make every day a celebration!
