B.S.O. de Reuzen

BSO de Reuzen is located in a former primary school at Anemoonstraat 1 in Scheemda. We use three spacious group rooms and a very large outdoor area with many play opportunities. Our after-school care accommodates up to 66 children aged 4 to 13 years, divided into three base groups of maximum 22 children per group. Each group has a dedicated mentor who is the contact person for both child and parents. We pick up children from schools in Scheemda, Heiligerlee and Westerlee. Our pedagogical staff are ready when the children are dismissed. For pick-ups we use our own buses and cars, driven by qualified staff and regular drivers. Upon arrival at the BSO, we first have a drink together with a cookie (on Wednesdays and Fridays a sandwich). After that, each child is free to do what he or she wants. A daily activity is offered, which can be joined voluntarily. For children who have homework, there is a quiet place. During holidays we organize many activities and regularly go on trips. Think of visits to the cinema, an amusement park, the zoo or the forest. These activities are done together with children from other BSOs. It is also possible to use care only during holidays. BSO de Reuzen is part of Kinderopvang Oldambt and works closely with day care De Kaboutertjes, which is located in the same building.
