Kinderopvang Mengelmoes

Welcome to Kinderopvang Mengelmoes at Eendenveld 1 in the residential area of Rietlanden in Emmen. Since 2014 we have opened our doors and provide children from 0 to 4 years with a warm, homely place where they can develop at their own pace. We are a small-scale childcare centre with one separate baby group and two vertical groups for children aged 1.5 to 4 years. We consciously choose this small-scale setup: it offers peace, overview and room for personal attention. Our baby group is one of the few separate baby groups in Emmen. Here the very youngest receive all the rest and care they need. We work with fixed pedagogical staff who know and sense your child. In the vertical groups, toddlers learn from each other and from the younger children. Together they play, discover and grow in a safe environment. We believe it is important that children feel safe and therefore pay a lot of attention to settling in. Together with you we look for a way that suits your child. Quality of care is high on our priority list. We work with a general pedagogical policy and create pedagogical work plans for each group. Our experienced and committed pedagogical staff observe the children well. This way we get to know the individual needs of each child and can respond to them properly. We also offer Early Childhood Education (ECE) to children with an indication. Together with you we discuss your child's development. If there is reason for concern, we will address this together with you and, if necessary, with external experts. Our building is centrally located in the neighbourhood, opposite the shopping centre and sports halls. We have a nice garden where children can play and discover to their heart's content.
