Peuterschatten Marlynedycke

Peuterschatten Marlynedycke is our toddler care group for children aged 2 to 4 years, located on the ground floor of farm Marlynedycke at Middeldijk 35 in Barendrecht. We operate in a small-scale horizontal group with a maximum of 16 children each morning. The group is open Monday through Friday from 08:30 to 12:00. Our pedagogical staff provide a safe and stimulating environment where toddlers develop through play. We follow the VVE program (Pre-school Education) to optimally prepare children for primary school. Activities are tailored to the world of toddlers: we craft in the art studio, read aloud in the reading corner and bake together in the kitchen. The latter is specially designed for small children so they can safely help with simple recipes. Everything is all-inclusive: healthy organic food, fresh fruit, drinks and even diapers. We maintain a clear daily routine with fixed times for playing, eating, sleeping and outdoor activities. There is a separate sleeping room with beds where children can rest when needed. Parents are actively involved in their child's development through parent meetings and a parent committee.
