Welcome to Kinderopvang Lievelijn, a small-scale daycare centre on the ground floor of Hoofdweg 17 in Wagenborgen. We care for up to 16 babies and toddlers plus 8 preschoolers in cosy, home-like groups. Our close-knit team of professional staff creates a familiar setting where every child feels free to be themselves. Animals are an integral part of our day. Besides our own rabbits, chickens and guinea pigs, we volunteer at the local petting farm. Regular walks to the farm teach the children to care for and respect animals. Inside you will find clearly defined corners: a quiet reading nook, a creative table for crafts and a soft bedroom with outdoor cribs. In our spacious garden children can climb, build sandcastles and play together. We grow vegetables and herbs in our own patch, showing children where food comes from. We follow the early-years programme ‘Startblokken’ to stimulate language and thinking skills through play. Nappies, wipes, bottle-feeding and healthy meals are all included. Parents may choose fixed or flexible days; half-days are always negotiable. Coffee is always ready and we warmly invite you to come and see us!
