Welcome to Partou Konijn, our warm daycare center located in the monumental building at Drie Octoberstraat 27 in Leiden. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely environment where every child feels safe and seen. Our large building gives children all the space they need to play, learn and discover. Outdoor play is central to our approach. We have a large, safe outdoor space with plenty of freedom to play, a special baby garden and even outdoor cribs where children can sleep wonderfully. Our spacious playground is shielded with cheerful red sunscreens and the green garden is nicely shaded. In the baby section, the very youngest can safely practice rolling, crawling and taking their first steps. We work with a special toddler group 'De Haasjes' for children aged 2-4 who need extra challenge. These toddlers receive adapted activities and materials at their own level. We carefully observe each child and regularly align our findings with parents. As a BookStart location, we read aloud daily according to a special reading plan. We have our own gym where children receive lessons from a real gym teacher. Every day we serve a warm, organic meal and healthy snacks. Parents stay informed through our own app where we share photos and messages. Our pedagogical professionals work according to Partou's six building blocks, through which we help children grow playfully and gain new experiences.
