Welcome to Kinderopvang Koetje Boe at Zwavertsweg 226A in Hengelo! We are a small-scale daycare center that has been providing care for children aged 0 to 4 years since 2009. Our unique concept combines professional childcare with the experience of farm life. Children can play, discover and grow up in a safe, green environment where animals and nature are central. Everything revolves around outdoor life with us. Children learn to consciously experience the seasons, help feed the animals and discover how something grows and blooms. Daily we take a walk around the farm where we visit the calves, sheep and ponies. We use our pushcart to explore the polder and discover all the beauty around us. This agricultural environment perfectly matches the experiential world of young children. Our pedagogical approach is aimed at helping children discover who they are. We provide a safe environment in which they can grow into the person they are. We follow each child's development and experiential world and connect with appropriate experiences. Our vertical group ensures that children of all ages come into contact with each other and learn from each other. Inside we have set up different corners: a relaxation corner for quiet moments, a book corner where we read together, and a creative corner where we craft with natural materials. We sing songs, read books and stimulate language development by naming actions during all activities. The space is transparent and clearly arranged, so children feel safe and can discover for themselves. We work with a VVE program (Pre- and early childhood education) aimed at preventing developmental delays. Our involved pedagogical staff have all the time and attention for each child. The small scale of our care ensures a homely atmosphere in which every child feels seen and valued.
