Kinderdagverblijf Koetje Boe is located at Woudseweg 178b in Schipluiden, in the heart of the beautiful Midden-Delfland region. For over 25 years, we have provided childcare for children aged 3 months to 4 years in a warm, homely and natural environment. Our setting is small-scale, with a maximum of 10 children per day, ensuring every child receives the personal attention they need. We operate a vertical group, where children of all ages play and learn together. Babies can safely observe from a large playpen, while toddlers actively explore. The indoor space is cozy and open, with direct views of the outdoor area. From the group, children can watch the animals in the adjacent meadow: sheep, lambs, ponies and calves. Our outdoor play area borders these fields, allowing daily contact with nature and farm life. Our vision is clear: children are encouraged to be themselves and grow at their own pace. We follow their world of experience and offer activities that match their development. This includes singing with gestures, themed activities like ‘enjoy your meal’, and observing emotions during play. We follow a consistent daily rhythm, combining structure with warmth. Every activity is designed to stimulate social, emotional, motor and language skills. Our team consists of qualified childcare professionals, including at least one staff member with first aid and emergency response certification. We also implement an Early Childhood Education (VVE) program to identify and support developmental delays early. Each child is assigned a dedicated mentor who monitors their development and discusses progress with parents. We value parental involvement and offer flexible care days and an active parent committee.
