KDV de Delftlanden

KDV de Delftlanden is located in the multifunctional accommodation building at Zandzoom 19 in the Delftlanden district of Emmen. We provide care for children from 10 weeks up to 4 years in two vertical groups where babies, toddlers and preschoolers play and learn together. The rooms are decorated in soft colours with familiar corners so every child feels safe and secure. Our pedagogical staff work according to the vertical-group principle. This means children of different ages share one group. The youngest observe the older toddlers and learn naturally through play; the older children develop caring skills and responsibility by looking after the little ones. The spaces are flexibly arranged: a quiet sleeping corner with cots and cradles, a play area with age-appropriate materials, and a craft/reading corner where story-time also takes place. KDV de Delftlanden is part of the childcare chain Kleinduimpje, known for its small-scale approach and personal attention. Because we are housed in the same building as primary schools OBS Delftlanden and Het Talent, children can seamlessly continue to preschool education after daycare and later to school. The collaboration with the schools creates a continuous developmental line from 0 to 12 years within one familiar environment. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 19:00.
