Kinderopvang Klein Amsterdam

Kinderopvang Klein Amsterdam is a daycare center (KDV) located at Tuinderijlaan 4 in Amsterdam-Noord. We provide care for children aged 2 to 4 years in one stable group of maximum 16 children. Our toddler group is fully integrated into the Klein Amsterdam primary school, allowing us to offer a seamless continuous learning line. Since 2023, we offer both full-day care (KDV) and VVE (early preschool education) groups. This half-day program specifically focuses on language development and school readiness. We use the Kameleon method, which perfectly aligns with our vision on development and learning. Our pedagogical approach is inspired by Reggio Emilia and the ideas of educator Loris Malaguzzi. We believe children develop best through inquiry-based and discovery learning. Our spaces are carefully designed to stimulate this natural curiosity. The KDV is open Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 18:30 hours. During school holidays we remain open, except for 4 vacation weeks per year. The VVE group operates from 08:00 to 13:30 hours. For placement, the minimum age is 2 years and maximum age is 3 years.
