KInderopvang Kiekeboe - Voorschool Pierewiet

Voorschool Pierewiet is part of Kinderopvang Kiekeboe and is located in the Stedenwijk Community Centre at Kampenweg 3 in Almere. We provide a safe and familiar environment for children aged 2 to 4 years. Our spaces are divided into different themed corners that we regularly adjust to match the current theme. During the theme 'sick and healthy', children play in their own doctor's office or hospital, build beds for sick stuffed animals in the construction corner, read appropriate books in the reading corner, and craft their own doctor's bag. Movement is an important part of our daily activities. We do movement songs, move during circle activities, and play outside with bikes, balls, and playground equipment. Each year we organize a toddler performance at the theater and invite artists to work with the children on music, dance, theater, or art. Our pedagogical staff are trained in the VVE Pyramid method and receive annual coaching and training to maintain high quality. We find it important to connect with each child's development and needs. Parents can stay informed about their child's development through our parent app. Kinderopvang Kiekeboe has over 30 years of experience in childcare and offers small-scale care where all pedagogical staff know each other and all children. We work with small groups to create a homely and secure atmosphere where children can develop optimally.
