Kinderopvang Kiekeboe - KDV Rozemarijn

Daycare Rozemarijn is part of Kinderopvang Kiekeboe and is located at Gipskruidweg 217 in Almere. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a vertical group with a maximum of 14 children. This group structure means children of different ages play and learn together. Older children learn to take the younger ones into account and even help feed bottles to the babies. At Rozemarijn we use the VVE program Piramide. This program focuses on language and general development of children. Through themes and activities we stimulate the development of every child. For example, during the theme 'Clothing', children made their own T-shirts and presented them to parents during a fashion show. For the youngest children there is a quiet playpen so they can play and explore safely. When the babies are sleeping, the pedagogical staff have time for activities such as crafts with the older children. We believe it is important that children feel safe and secure. That is why we work with small groups and permanent, involved pedagogical staff who know every child. Kinderopvang Kiekeboe stands for quality care in a homely atmosphere. We use the Gordon method: we do not believe in punishment, but in good communication with children. We resolve conflicts in a way that makes children feel valued and understand why something is not allowed.
