Welcome to BSO Kakelbont, located on a traditional farm at Papenvoortsedijk 1c in Rijkevoort. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in a rural, homely setting. Our BSO, called 'De Hooizolder' (The Hayloft), has room for up to 30 children and works with small-scale, mixed-age groups where children of different ages play and learn together. After school, children are picked up by our own minibus from primary schools in Rijkevoort, Sint Anthonis and Wanroij. We maintain close contact with these schools and have clear agreements about pick-up times and locations. Once back on the farm, there is plenty of space for free play, running around in the garden or joining an activity we plan together with the children. We believe it is important that children can be themselves and choose what they want to do. Our daily schedule is calm and straightforward: around 2:00 PM the bus collects the children, after which there is time for free play. At 3:00 PM we eat fruit together and have a drink, then at 3:30 PM we start a group activity. Think crafts, outdoor play, helping on the farm or simply enjoying each other's company. Around 4:30 PM we tidy up and the children get another snack and drink. Parents can collect their child until 6:30 PM, with always time left for free play. We are open all year round, including school holidays and study days. We offer various care packages, such as before-school care from 7:30 to 8:30 AM, after-school care from 2:00 to 5:00, 5:30, 6:00 or 6:30 PM, and holiday care from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Everything can be tailored flexibly to suit your and your child's needs. On our farm, children can be outside every day, play with animals, romp in the meadow or simply enjoy the peace and space. We believe it is important that children feel safe and at home with us, so that you as a parent can work or study with peace of mind.
