Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Het Toverbloempje in Woensdrecht, located at Dorpsstraat 49D. Our daycare is part of Het Toverbloempje, a homely childcare organisation founded by Leslie Vermonden in 2014. The organisation now runs four branches in Zundert, Etten-Leur and Woensdrecht, but this location is dedicated solely to the youngest children: ages 0 to 4. Everything we do revolves around a familiar, homely atmosphere where children feel safe and secure. We operate two horizontal groups: a baby group (0-2 years) and a toddler group (2-4 years), each accommodating up to 16 children. This setup provides calm, structure and age-appropriate activities. All our pedagogical staff are fully qualified for childcare and are supported by a pedagogical coach who guides them in daily practice. Every child is also assigned a personal mentor who tracks development through the KIJK! child-monitoring system and holds an annual observation meeting with parents. We follow a clear daily rhythm that matches your child’s age. Babies keep their own routine, discussed during intake and carefully recorded in a digital log. From 1 year onward, children join the regular daycare rhythm, giving them a sense of safety and predictability. Breakfast (a sandwich and milk) is offered between 06:45 and 07:15; bottle feeds can be given until 16:30. Nappies of the Kruidvat house brand are included; if you prefer another brand, please bring your own. Formula, breast milk and vegetable meals (up to 1 year) should also be brought from home, along with a sleeping bag, spare clothes and favourite cuddly toys. Communication is easy via the KidsKonnect app, where you can request extra care, report leave and find all practical information. Personal contact is just as important: there is always time for a chat at drop-off and pick-up, and we schedule an annual parent meeting. Birthdays are celebrated on the group—without parents present, but with photos and a healthy treat.
