Welcome to Kinderopvang Het Speelhuis, located at Herestraat 1 in the heart of Grijpskerk. We offer a warm, home-like place where every child – from six weeks to four years old – finds their own spot. In two vertical daycare groups (12 and 16 places) our professional staff work with commitment, warmth and a playful approach to support your child’s development. Quality is our top priority: we follow a clear pedagogical policy, transparent parent policy and a careful settling-in policy. These documents are available in our parent portal or handed out at first enrolment. We believe that joy is the basis for learning and growing. Therefore we organise varied activities all year round, both indoors and outdoors. We regularly go on surprising excursions with the children and make use of our own library and play corners. For the youngest we provide bottle feeding, fruit and drinks and quiet sleeping rooms. Toddlers receive language and developmental stimulation through play in our early-education (VVE) programme. Because every family is unique we offer tailor-made care: you can book by the hour, either fixed or flexible, without fixed drop-off and pick-up times. Extra care or swap sessions are possible when group size allows. We like to keep in touch with you through our free Speelhuis app and keep you updated on your child’s daily experiences. Together with you, as parent or carer, we share responsibility for the care and upbringing of your child. We align as much as possible with the rules and structure from home and are happy to talk through our parent committee. In this way we create one trusted environment where your child feels safe and at home.
