Welcome to Topkids Daycare Soest Driehoeksweg, our childcare centre right in the green heart of Soest. We are only a stone’s throw from the Soester Dunes and vast forests, so our children step into nature every single day. We follow the child: every child is given the space to grow, discover and have fun in his or her own way. That makes every day here special. Our location is laid out as a warm, homely home where up to 28 children aged 0 to 4 can play and sleep at the same time. We work with vertical groups; babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers share one space. This way the very youngest learn from the older ones and the pre-schoolers develop their caring skills. The pedagogical staff – led by location manager Daphne Nieuwerf – provide small-scale, personal childcare with the individual child at the centre. Inside, everything is carefully arranged in the Topkids house style: soft colours, cosy corners and materials at eye level. We use a lot of ‘loose parts’ and sensory materials without a fixed purpose; children decide for themselves what they want to do with them. Outside we have a secure garden and we regularly make use of the immediate surroundings. Woods, dunes and meadows form our extended playroom where children can run, dig, build dens and experience the seasons. Our doors are open from 7.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. To ensure a calm start and end to the day, we ask parents to drop off before 9.15 a.m. and pick up after 5.00 p.m. Feel free to come in for a tour and experience the warm atmosphere of Topkids Daycare Soest Driehoeksweg for yourself.
