Kinderopvang Het Snuitje

Welcome to Kinderopvang Het Snuitje, located on the farm at Middegaal 26 in Veghel. We provide small-scale daycare for children aged 0 to 4 in a unique agricultural setting. Our daycare consists of three home groups: Villa Knor, De Biggetjes and De Krulstaartjes. These groups follow a vertical model, mixing children of different ages so the youngest learn from the older ones and vice versa. Siblings can therefore play together on the same group, just like at home. Being outdoors and natural play are central to our approach. We go outside as much as possible, even in less favourable weather. Children are given space to follow their imagination and discover for themselves what the weather, nature and our farm animals have to offer. In our large, fenced play meadow they can roll in the grass, splash in puddles, climb and clamber on natural materials and let off steam. Special outdoor clothing such as overalls, rain gear and boots is available for everyone. Our farm offers plenty of animal contact. Children get to know our goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens and pigs. They are allowed to feed, pet, care for and cuddle the animals. Together we collect fresh eggs and use our own vegetables and fruit from the garden at the bread meal moment. In this playful way children learn where food comes from and experience the whole season. Inside we create a homely and calm atmosphere with different play corners. The spaces are arranged so that we can also bring the outdoors inside. There is a separate bedroom and we work with fixed, loving and experienced pedagogical staff who know and guide each group. Drop-off is from 7.15 to 9.00 am, pick-up from 4.30 to 6.15 pm. Between 9.00 am and 4.30 pm we keep the group calm and no new children join.
