Het Paleisje Bergschenhoek BSO

Welcome to BSO Engeltjes of Het Paleisje, located at Julianalaan 132 in Bergschenhoek. Our small-scale after-school care center accommodates 20 children aged 4 to 12 years. We are open daily from 07:00 to 19:00 and offer both before-school care (VSO) and after-school care, as well as holiday care. Our BSO operates according to the all-inclusive formula that Het Paleisje is known for. This means we provide a fresh breakfast for children using before-school care, fresh fruit, a bread meal, healthy snacks and a fresh hot meal at the end of the day. We accommodate virtually all allergies, diets and other nutritional requirements. At our center, the child is central. Children play an active role in the daily operations of the BSO. They are involved in important decisions such as purchasing new toys, indicating what they would like to do during school holidays, helping create weekly menus, contributing rules for the BSO, or even developing their own games to play with other children. This approach helps them develop a sense of responsibility and ensures every child feels seen and heard. We organize an abundance of activities, excursions and workshops. During each school holiday, we create a fantastic schedule that is announced in advance. We undertake adventurous expeditions to places like fire stations, ambulances or veterinary clinics. We go for walks in the woods, have picnics, visit playgrounds and Plaswijckpark, and make cultural trips to museums. Additionally, we offer homework assistance when needed. Our experienced and qualified pedagogical staff are ready every day to provide the best care. We collaborate with various primary schools in the area, including CBS De Regenboog and CBS Boterdorp, where we pick up children from school and bring them to our BSO.
