Kinderopvang Happy Feet

Welcome to BSO Happy Feet at Miquelstraat 50 in The Hague. We are a small-scale after-school care centre that forms part of Kinderopvang Happy Feet. Our warm-hearted team—Lisa Meppelink, Daisy Stoppelenburg and Michelle Knegt—is ready every weekday to give children aged 4 to 12 a safe, homely place to unwind after school. Everything we do revolves around calm and space for the individual child. We do not follow fixed methods or pre-school education programmes; instead, we truly look at what your child needs. Our pedagogical staff act as personal mentors, tailoring activities, rest periods and guidance to each child’s unique development. This keeps our care personal and flexible. After school, children can simply breathe out with us. We serve a hot meal that changes weekly, so parents can be sure their child enjoys a healthy dinner. The atmosphere is homely: no long corridors or massive halls, just cosy corners where children can play, read, craft or simply do nothing at all. We respect every child’s autonomy and give room to relax or burn off energy at their own pace. Our location on Miquelstraat is easily accessible and has room for up to 32 children.
