Kindercentrum Foxkidz 't Getij

Welcome to Kindercentrum Foxkidz ’t Getij, our daycare centre at Oosthof 1 in the heart of Kloosterzande. We are part of Kindcentrum Kloosterzande and work closely with primary school ’t Getij every day. Our location provides care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 years and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 August 2010. Everything we do revolves around calm, security and development at each child’s own pace. For the very youngest we have a cosy baby group (0-2 years) with a hanging crib, soft colours and plenty of space to roll, crawl and climb. The baby garden, safely situated behind the building, lets even our smallest visitors enjoy fresh air every day. Our toddler group follows the Early Childhood Education programme Uk & Puk. Learning through play is central within a familiar daily rhythm full of structure, free play, themed activities and discovery. Toddlers grow at their own speed and are given every opportunity to shine. For children from 3.5 years we offer the PSZ+ group in which toddlers and preschoolers meet weekly. In this way they practise the transition to primary school through play and already build a familiar bond with the teachers of ’t Getij. Outdoor play takes place on our green playground where nature and discovery are key. We regularly head out: to the neighbourhood, the forest or the library. In the “give-and-take cupboard” we share items with one another and we collaborate with partners such as the physiotherapist, speech therapist, GGD, yoga instructor and the residential care home. Our pedagogical staff are ready every morning from 7.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. and during school holidays we are open as usual. In short: a safe, stimulating environment where every child is free to grow in his or her own way.
