Kinderdagverblijf Fluitenkruid is located at Vlierboomstraat 471 in the heart of The Hague. We are part of Kinderopvang Binnen ste Buiten B.V. and provide care for up to 24 children aged 0 to 4 years at this location, divided into two horizontal groups. Every child is at the centre of our approach: we believe each child is unique and give every child the freedom to develop fully. Our pedagogical attitude is inquisitive: “What does this child need from us to take the next step in their development?” We offer a warm, embracing place where children feel heard and safe. Rhythm and predictability form the foundation: we follow fixed patterns and rituals so that children experience security and structure. Respectful living with nature is a key pillar. We marvel outdoors at everything that grows and blooms, experience the seasons intensely, and use natural materials as play resources. Our seasonal table makes visible what is happening outside. The garden offers plenty of space to play and explore. Creativity contributes to the development of every child. Therefore, we provide an environment that stimulates imagination: free play and open-ended toys are central. Children gain meaningful and valuable experiences that lay a healthy foundation for life. At midday we share a delicious, healthy warm meal, as organic as possible. For the children’s care we use natural products. We help children connect with themselves, their surroundings and the people around them. At Fluitenkruid, children find a second home where they feel welcome every day.
