Fantaziehuis Cartesius KDV

Fantaziehuis Cartesius KDV is located at Cartesiusweg 23 in the heart of Utrecht and offers children aged 0-4 a creative place of discovery where development is central. We work from the Reggio Emilia and Emmi Pikler vision: children are encouraged to discover themselves and the world around them in a warm, homely environment. Our large natural garden is a green oasis in the city; here children play, garden and learn about nature in a playful way. We provide both horizontal baby groups and toddler groups on a daily basis. Babies follow their own rhythm and receive all the time and attention from our specialised pedagogical staff. For the toddler groups we organise extra activities such as mindfulness, toddler gym, jazz dance and theatre. We craft with a variety of materials, read books and work thematically, so that language, motor skills and social skills are stimulated in a playful way. Fruit, water and tea are included as standard; parents provide their own bread meals. Our team is ready every morning to welcome both child and parent. We take time for a personal handover and tailor the daily routine to the needs of the child. Fantaziehuis Cartesius is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30.
