Welcome to Wonderberk at Rijksstraatweg 26 in Haarlem. Our beautiful building, the former rectory of Adelbertus Church, provides afternoon after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. The atmospheric spaces with stained glass windows, high ceilings and art-deco details create an environment of peace and security. Behind the building lies a spacious, green and fully enclosed garden with old plane trees, a play hill and our own vegetable garden where children can play, explore and unwind after school. Our after-school care is based on anthroposophical principles. We work with fixed rhythms and seasons, providing space for free play, creative activities and shared experiences. Children can help with cooking in our homely kitchens, where we exclusively use organic-biodynamic food, sometimes from our own garden. We believe it's important that children can relax after a busy school day in an environment that feels like a second home. The location is easily accessible with parking near the church and bicycle storage next to the entrance. We currently have some availability for after-school care.
