Kinderopvang De Vlindertuin

Welcome to Kinderopvang De Vlindertuin, a small-scale daycare centre located at Eikenschoor 5 in the quiet village of Soerendonk. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in two horizontal groups: the Caterpillars (10 weeks – 2 years, max. 8 children) and the Butterflies (2 – 4 years, max. 14-16 children). Each group has its own bright room with under-floor heating and a stable team of qualified pedagogical staff, so your child sees familiar faces every day and receives the personal attention they deserve. Our setting sits on the edge of the village, surrounded by meadows and a large green garden directly adjoining the building. Outside, children find a sandpit, a play hill with slide, an outdoor water pump and a lawn where they can run and explore freely. Chickens, rabbits and, in spring, sheep with lambs roam our grounds; the children help feed them and learn, in a natural way, how to interact with animals. When the weather is nice we head out with push-carts to explore the countryside. Even the youngest babies nap outside in special outdoor cribs: fresh air helps them sleep deeper and longer. We follow a clear pedagogical plan centred on rest, regularity and individual development. There is plenty of room for free play, but also for joint activities such as singing, reading aloud, crafting and gardening. In summer the children pick raspberries, strawberries and berries from our own bushes. During the intake interview – always attended by a staff member from the relevant group – we discuss your wishes and those of your child, ensuring a smooth transition from home to daycare.
