Kinderopvang de Tivoli

Welcome to Kinderopvang de Tivoli at Sportlaan 30 in Hulst. We are a day-care centre (KDV) for children aged 0 to 4 years, offering care in a homely, safe environment where every child is given space to develop at their own pace. Since 1 March 2013 we have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK 106813869) and we work according to a clear pedagogical policy focused on trust, safety and enjoyment. Our Sportlaan location has a maximum capacity of 48 places and is divided into age groups. The youngest children start in the Tivolihuis, where experienced baby specialists provide a warm, calm environment with familiar faces and a predictable daily rhythm. When your child is ready, they move on to the toddler group. Here we use an officially recognised early-years education programme (VE) that focuses on language, numeracy, motor skills, creativity and social-emotional development. We believe children learn best through play and self-discovery; therefore we offer a rich variety of materials and activities. A special feature of our provision is our own Tivoli garden. Here children can play, garden and explore nature. We also make regular trips – to the local market to buy fresh ingredients for our healthy lunch, to the industrial museum or to the best playground in Zeeland. Everything revolves around having fun and discovering the world together. Flexibility is very important to us. Our day-care is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and half-days are possible. We work with a permanent team of pedagogical professionals who know parents and children personally. Your child is assigned a personal mentor who ensures a smooth transition between groups and a warm, trusting relationship. At De Tivoli your child quickly feels at home and makes friends for life.
