De Speelhoeve daycare is located on a quiet rural spot at Timmermannsweg 98 in Ysselsteyn. Housed in a stylishly renovated farmhouse, we welcome children from 0 to 4 years and give them all the space they need to grow and play. The calm countryside provides a low-stimulus environment so your child’s needs are always the focus. Both indoors and outdoors everything is designed for young children. The large outdoor area invites adventure: grass hills, a wooden playhouse, sandpits, tree trunks, climbing opportunities and our own animals make every day different. We follow the pedagogical handbook of the United Agricultural Childcare (VAK). We work with horizontal groups, so babies and toddlers receive exactly the attention and activities that match their developmental stage. Babies experience calm and security, while toddlers are given room to explore and build self-confidence. Our qualified staff provide activities tailored to each child’s level. We stimulate language development, motor skills and independence. For toddlers who need extra support, we offer Early Childhood Education using the Startblokken method, preparing them playfully for primary school. De Speelhoeve is small-scale with a maximum of 46 places, creating a homely atmosphere where parents, children and staff truly know each other. We open at 7:15 am and close at 6:15 pm.
