De Speelboerderij Daycare is located at Ellenbroekweg 12 in Sint Isidorushoeve, municipality of Haaksbergen. We offer small-scale, farm-based childcare for 40 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our setting is a converted old barn and former farmhouse, creating a homely and personal atmosphere. All staff are qualified pedagogical professionals with a passion for childcare on a real working farm. Children interact daily with animals such as cows, calves, chickens, rabbits, alpacas and deer. They help feed and care for the animals and experience farm life in a safe way. Our outdoor area totals 800 m² and includes natural play spaces with a grass hill, sandpit and seasonal activities. We follow the pedagogical policy of the United Agricultural Childcare Association (VAK). Our aim is to be an extension of home: familiar, calm and with consistent caregivers. Each group has enough regular staff so every child feels seen and secure. We provide a predictable daily rhythm with time for sleeping, playing, outdoor activities and snacks. Safety and hygiene are top priorities. The premises feature safety glass, child-safe door handles, CO₂ monitors and underfloor heating. The GGD carries out an annual inspection and we operate under a fixed safety and health policy. All staff hold a valid Child First Aid certificate. De Speelboerderij is open 51 weeks per year, Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:30, except for the week between Christmas and New Year. You are warmly invited to come and see us without obligation!
