Welcome to Partou daycare De Poppenpaal, located at Kerkweg 109 in the centre of Venhuizen. Our building is special: it used to be a fire station and has been transformed into a warm and secure home for children aged 0 to 4. We care for up to 47 children in three groups: one baby group for children 0-2 years and two vertical groups for children 0-4 years. This allows siblings to play and learn together. At De Poppenpaal we work with themes that change every six weeks and connect to the children’s world. We craft, sing and explore together. Every week our reading grandma or grandpa visits to read aloud, stimulating language development. We also offer children’s yoga and regularly go on outings with our push-car, exploring nature and the neighbourhood. Our qualified pedagogical staff follow the Partou Pedagogy. We believe every child should feel safe and confident, therefore we work with familiar faces and stable groups. We pay close attention to each child’s development and tailor activities to their needs. We work closely with parents; we call this the pedagogical partnership. During the intake we discuss your wishes and those of your child so we can align perfectly. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:30. Flexible care is possible: you can swap a day or request extra care via the Partou parent app. We provide healthy, varied meals, taking allergies and dietary requirements into account. There is a spacious garden with play equipment and green areas where children can play freely. The youngest have separate sleeping rooms with cots so they can rest peacefully. Access is secured with a door code so only familiar faces can enter.
